In recent years, Business Science has undergone significant progress in parallel with the rapid developments in technology and has led to the creation of a modern discipline and profession called management. Today in Turkey, while companies make realistic plans and organize their material and human resources in the most effective and economical way, they are also trying to reach the information power that can withstand the ever-increasing international competition.

The success of such an effort depends on the high-quality labor force that can use the communication and computer technologies extremely well and speak foreign languages. Our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Business Administration (Turkish/English) programs, which have been continuously renewed in consideration of this fact, consist of courses that include all these elements and aim to introduce our students to contemporary business administration and management concepts, techniques, philosophy and practices.


In our Department, a consultancy system has been established in order to maintain student-teacher relationships most effectively. These programs are organized on a semester basis and distributed over 8 semesters.


The İstanbul Kültür University Department of Business Administration is dedicated to following the developments in the field of business management and developing and implementing the information it obtains.

The Department tries to raise undergraduate students as modern individuals who are equipped with the knowledge and skills required by the business science, who can communicate in any environment, question and defend their views, know at least one foreign language and have entrepreneurial and leadership skills. A significant part of the courses is in English, which will be beneficial to both our students and our country.

 
What is the Purpose of English Education?

In today's globalized world, English knowledge has become a necessity. Within the framework of the English Business Administration Curriculum, the aim is to provide modern business education, to inform our students about the latest economic developments in the world, to follow the global business administration literature in the foreign language they will acquire and to increase their job opportunities in the global business world. 
Education in foreign language offers many opportunities with regards to following professional literature and developments and increasing employment opportunities after graduation. The Department of Business Administration (English) is sufficient in terms of the criteria determined by YÖK.

How Will the Courses be Carried Out?

The courses in Turkish Business Administration program are in Turkish and all courses in English Business Administration program are in English. In the English program, the one-year English Preparatory Program is compulsory. In the Turkish program, the English Preparation Class is optional. Students who are successful in the English Proficiency Exam of our University, held at the end of the English Preparatory Program or who certify their English proficiency with internationally recognized exams start their first year of studies in their Department. The four-year undergraduate program consists of courses in English.
